In our last episode, I was not properly thankful for mobile Blogger. Now it's mobile MySpace's turn.
I remember the day like it was 11 days ago. I accidentally discovered that I could access mobile.myspace.com on my cell phone. (Don't try this from a computer; you'll be redirected.) So I excitedly typed a two paragraph post.
Only problem is, it posted as one paragraph.
I was moved to write a mobile MySpace post yesterday morning, so I thought that I would be smart and put in some paragraph commands in my three paragraph post.
It still came out as one paragraph.
So, at the end of the day, I pretty much gave up and knew that I was going to have one long paragraph in this post.
Only then did I notice that all of my mobile MySpace posts were lacking apostrophes.
Just to make sure, I confirmed this:
Ive got a sneaking suspicion that mobile MySpace doesnt like apostrophes. Even though Im typing them in, the apostrophes arent appearing in my final posts. Therefore Im looking like a doofus. This aint right.
So do I write without contractions? Reminds me of something in the Shales book where someone noted that Dick Ebersol was unable to speak without contractions.
So, I was so irritated that I tweeted about it.
Which reminds me...
