You'll recall my three previous posts on Kim Amidon, who suspected that her firing from Los Angeles radio station KOST was designed to bring in a younger, less expensive female deejay. (Her male counterpart, Mark Wallengren, is still employed at KOST.)
Well, KOST has now officially replaced Kim Amidon, according to Franklin Avenue:
Wallengren's new co-host, Kristin Cruz, officially started Monday. "Mark Wallengren & Kristen Cruz in the Morning" pairs long-time local radio host Wallengren with Cruz, who spent time in San Diego working at KGTV and as host of the "Love Songs" show on Soft Rock 96.5 FM.
