And here's another story about GE Money Bank, this one from Europe:

Is also your city filled with GE Money Bank advertisements? Probably yes....Look at the picture in this post: a man, who doesn’t look so smart, says (translated from German) that before buying his Home Cinema he will ask (money) to GE Money Bank. This advertisement should be banned from our streets, because it pushes people without money to buy something they don’t need, like a Home Cinema. All the other GE advertisements give the same kind of message: << You don’t have money to buy cool things, like sporty cars, home cinemas and other luxurious products? We give you money and you can finally (!) enjoy your life >>....

Well, at least until they start calling you all the time.

P.S. Yes, I realize the irony in quoting from the musical version of the Communist Manifesto when referring to a capitalistic organization.
