What would it take to resurrect "One World," the old IMF show?

Perhaps some of my readers are not familiar with the "One World" show that was on IMF before the cable channel was bought by Ovation. Since imf.com now redirects to the Ovation website, I'm relying on third party descriptions of the show.

From Joost:

Great music comes from all over the world. Whether it's Hip Hop from Japan, RnB from Russia, or Alternative Rock from Spain, like a global jukebox, One World gives IMF viewers a place to discover the world's best music.

And here's an excerpt from an old Universal Music Group press release:

IMF has launched two 24 hour video channels on Sky Mobile TV, which are available to subscribers throughout the UK. The first channel, IMF: The International Music Feed is dedicated to playing The World\'s Best Music, and features top videos and new music from every country. Among the chart-topping artists featured will be Kanye West, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Eyed Peas, Sugababes, Nine Black Alps, Rihanna, Fall Out Boy and Mariah Carey. The second channel, IMF Feed 2 will delve deeper into music genres and territories with shows such as Hip Hop Society, The Bridge (Latin), One World (International), Passage to India (Indian), Raw Feed (exclusive artist interviews), and Hello World (pop-music culture from dozens of countries), among others....

IMF: The International Music Feed went live on January 20, 2005, and is the first 24 hour all-music channel to feature the best music from around the world. Music truly is universal, and IMF is committed to creating the world\'s premiere music broadcast destination, featuring music videos, exclusive artist interviews and special programming.

That press release quoted Andy Schuon, by the way. More about him in a separate post.

[1:56 PM PST - I CONTACTED OVATION. YOU SHOULD TOO.]
