The Worthlessness of Eddie Van Halen, from a Devo essay

Several hours after musing on my dislike of Eddie Van Halen, I ran across this comment, buried in an essay about Bob Lewis/Kent State era Devo.

In his book Fargo Rock City, rock critic Chuck Klosterman wrote that, “Listening to (Eric) Clapton is like getting a sensual massage from a woman you’ve loved for the past ten years; listening to [Eddie] Van Halen is like having the best sex of your life with three foxy nursing students you met at a Tastee Freez.”

Bear in mind that Valerie Bertinelli got a divorce. And whatever happened to Layla?
