So thousands have monitored FriendFeed and Twitter. Once the text came, so the thinking went, the social networks would spread it first.
I woke up at 1am EDT (I'm still in Louisville) and checked. And the news was out.
But not from an Obama message.
The news came from traditional news services. Obama still hasn't sent The Message yet.
I'll grant that part of this was beyond Obama's control. The Secret Service had to be in place around Biden before any text could be sent.
But still, I wonder if the Obamamaniacs feel slighted that The Press had the word about Biden before The People did.
It's enough to make a coal miner go down under...
