It should be noted that there are various gradations of Mennonite/Amish belief, and that some Amish wouldn't even think of having a computer in the home, while some are fine with regular computers.
This item, advertised as a "classic word processor," falls somewhere in the middle. Amish America quotes from the advertisement:

The Classic boasts 'unequaled safety'. It is 'Not just a locked computer', promising 'No modem, no phone port or Internet connection, no outside programs, no sound, no photographs, no games or gimmicks.
