Now the Green Blade Riseth, or Now the Banjo Twangeth?

Followup.

If you were monitoring my Twitter feed this morning, then you saw/heard a text tweet, a spoken audio tweet, and a sung audio tweet.

All because Robert Plant won a country music award. Brings new meaning to the sticks by Birmingham, I guess.

And because I forgot half of the first verse, this is what I sang (or sangeth):

Now the green blade riseth from the buried grain,
Now the green blade riseth from the buried grain;
Love is come again, like wheat that springeth green,
Love is come again, like wheat that springeth green.

Personally, I think that King James language (rather than the modern stuff) works better for bluegrass tunes. Don't you agree?
