In preparation for the draft later today, ESPN was showing historical televised coverage of the quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 1983 draft. I was otherwise occupied at the time (wrapping up college), so the only thing that I remember was John Elway's unwillingness to play for the Baltimore Colts.
