Since I, by accident, have become the default source for all things Gertrude Neumark Rothschild, I occasionally perform a search to see if there is any new news about the International Trade Commission action.
There isn't (or at least I haven't found it), but I'm noticing a tone to the coverage on the blogosphere. I noticed it before, but now I'm noticing it more and more.

Is this why people are interested in this story? 30+ companies are potentially affected (prompting a description of the action as a massive patent battle), but the thing that grabs people about this story is the "little old lady" angle?
Disturbing.
But Rothschild could count her blessings - another inventor was dismissed as a starlet. Of course, when you're Hedy Lamarr, such things happen.

Dr. Gertrude Neumark Rothschild sued LED Big-5 (Nichia, Toyoda Gosei, Lumiled, Osram, Cree) before and two of them were settled.
I believe one of the Big-5 is still negotiating about her royalty. The legal consultant fires another case in ITC to put more pressure on one of Big-five and demonstrates the justification of her royalty.
But isn't she using a different law firm for the ITC action, as opposed to her previous lawsuits? Perhaps it is a pressure tactic, but it could be Rothschild herself who's coordinating it.
