Some time ago, I wrote a blog post (based upon an Accordion Guy post) with the title Betty Cooper is Weary of the Universe, which talked about an original Archie comic in which Betty "went Goth."
Well, this isn't an original Archie comic - it's modified - but it's wonderful nevertheless. Set to a song I had never heard before ("Common People" by Pulp), this Michael Hanscom video explores Veronica Lodge's interaction with those who are poorer than her, and an expressed wish to live like them.

If you haven't yet, I can definitely recommend adding Common People to your music library. It's actually available in two versions: the original, by Pulp, or a brilliant cover by none other than William Shatner. Good stuff.

I knew that Shatner had recorded in the 1960s, but I didn't realize that he had recorded more recently. Thanks for the tip.
