I haven't done a Stove Top in a while

For those who are new to this blog, a "stove top" post refers to the act of "stuffing" a lot of unrelated links into a single post. This happens when I get backed up in my Google Reader sharing. Enjoy.

Do you know someone who was banned from a site and never told why? Read WiredPig's post on @foulbastard and Twitter.

Lewis C reported on a database survey of Oracle and other databases. No, dBASE didn't win.

The latest semi-viral video is Lee LeFever's (Common Craft) video about Twitter. Bryan Person posted it.

Jesse Stay wondered about Twitter's future plans re groups.

There's a followup post about the Whitewater, Wisconsin thingie.

Significant technological advances may make Robert Scoble cry, but Shawn Zehnder Lea's Pasta e Fagioli recipe made my stomach growl. Don't read her blog in mid-morning or mid-afternoon; she likes to post recipes, and if you're hungry they're distracting.

No, Lindsay Lohan will not become the city manager in Pomona, California. (There is a Lohan-Pomona connection; she's done community service work there.)

Hillary Clinton bragged about her Michigan win, which angered Baratunde. Really really.

Reverse_Vampyr was not impressed by the bombing in Times Square.

And John at True Discernment was not impressed by the California Court of Appeals' ruling on home schools. (Or independent study.)

John McCain wrote a "Dear Barack" letter.

Peter Dawson really liked some tweets that he read in February.

Women. Can't live with them, can't live without them. Which one's Pink?

And with that, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon. Although I guess I could have cited the song "Help" instead.
