More Mash - We're Working on the Trademarks

Followup to my previous post on the Yahoo Mash mishmash.

As noted by SEO Alchemist, ResourceShelf has some details on some recent trademark filings by Yahoo. The following two caught my eye:

+ Yahoo Mash

Filed: August 24, 2007

+ “My M” (4 seperate filings)
“(Based on Intent to Use) Online social networking services”
“Online social networking services”
“computer services”
“computer hardware and software”
Filed: August 3, 2007

I wonder if on August 3rd, they hadn't yet decided whether to call the service "Mash" or "Mosh"? Well, they certainly knew by August 24.

Let's just hope that Yahoo doesn't have Apple or Cisco people handling their trademark filings.
