This blog has previously talked about possible favoritism for celebrities in trouble. But I had to turn to Refried Screens - not Mika Brzezinski - to look at the latest accusations of favoritism.
Take Lindsay Lohan, for example.
She already crashed her car in May and hurt some poor, innocent trees.
She did a stint in rehab. Ten days later she carjacked a GMC Denali and had the nerve to frame a black guy. Plus, in the same TMZ interview, the victims claim that when they tried to warn her, she boasted “I can’t get in trouble. I’m a celebrity. I can do whatever the f*** I want.”
How many more trees must be mutilated? Does a black man have to spend years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit before someone does something about this? She’s making a mockery of decent, law abiding Americans who like to get wasted in clubs.
But it's not all fun and games. Alexei of Refried Screens then cites the case of a carjacker/drinker/two-striker who got 13 years.
But not everyone thinks that Lindsay should get jail time.
Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, fears jail will destroy the actress, after she was arrested for drunk driving for the second time in just two months.
And Michael is an expert in the subject. Now Sharon Osbourne has not (to my knowledge) done any time in prison, but she has expressed her views about Paris, Lindsay, and the rest:
Acid-tongued Sharon said: "They need a bloody good smacking, and I'd kick them up the bum.
"I feel sorry for our guys that are in Iraq, not those little spoiled bitches.
"If I see anymore of them out at night with all that bloody hair sewn in their heads, skirts up here, no knickers on...
"Lock 'em all up, throw away the key!"
But frankly, if Lindsay plays her cards wrong, there's an easy solution to this whole problem. Let's say that one drunken night, Lindsay decides to get a fake ID in the name of Todd Davis, after obtaining his Social Security Number. Now let's say that Todd finds out about it. Justice will be served.
