Actually, it's an old friend of Carly Fiorina and some others.
Hewlett Packard has maintained the Compaq brand, and my computer runs a nice little news update service called the "Compaq Connections Agent." Of course it gets confused on non-administrator accounts, but all's fair in love and promotion.
