OK, maybe not so old.
When I ventured into Old Town Alexandria in the 1970s, I pretty much went to the historical sites. During this trip, I pretty much stayed to the stores - for example, I visited this Starbucks at least three times in the course of four days.
Regarding the bicycle sign - hear here! I'm tired of bikers running stop signs because it's just too danged hard to stop the bike and start it up again. If it's that hard on you, drive a car instead. End of rant.
I didn't take a picture of the Fish Market Restaurant itself (I took pictures of people at the Fish Market Restaurant, but I'm not posting them here), but we had an enjoyable dinner there one night.
