The Blue Planet Run begins [on June 1], with 20 runners, across 16 countries and over 15,200 miles in 95 days, relaying the message that we must begin to tackle the global problem of inadequate and unsafe drinking water.
Things started about five hours ago:
10 a.m. Hilary Swank will kick off the 2007 Blue Planet Run around-the-world relay to raise funds and awareness for safe drinking water projects at the United Nations, 46th Street and First Avenue.
