Time for Change Foundation and Washington Mutual are offering a free financial-literacy and credit-repair class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the YWCA, 567 Sierra Way, San Bernardino. Free food and child care are offered to all who attend. The lessons cover banking and finance basics, credit-score repair, homeownership, saving and investing. More information: (909) 886-2994.
And no, the people who attend this event probably won't have to deal with Washington Mutual after having a credit card stolen in a foreign country.
