Yeah, it's the morning show. Yeah, it's afternoon. So what?

I caught this at Franklin Avenue on Monday:

[I]n quite an unusual move, KROQ has sliced its top-rated morning show, Kevin & Bean, by an hour in the morning. The morning drive time show will now air from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. (it had formerly aired until 10). Instead, KROQ will now air an hour of Kevin & Bean at 5 p.m., in the heart of afternoon drive time.

A further explanation can be found at the KROQ website:

As many know, Kevin & Bean broadcast weekday mornings from 5:30AM-10AM. Well, it has come to our attention that there's a segment of KROQ's audience that has never heard them because they're on too damn early. Strippers, bartenders, security guards and nighttime cleaning crews have never had the opportunity to listen. That's all changing! As of yesterday, Kevin & Bean are live from 5:00AM-9AM and 5PM-6PM... Its Kevin & Bean's Cinco de la Tarde!

laradio.com has not yet updated its schedule, and KROQ hasn't seen fit to post show times (or at least they're well-hidden), so I'm not quite sure who's broadcasting when any more.
