Stove Top, 4 October 2008

I really really try to reflect things in a blog post, or if not, at least to offer comment on things via FriendFeed.

But several things have built up which I'm going to address now:

Independent Sources asserted that the Democratic National Committee used one of its images in a video without permission or attribution.

ReadWriteWeb reported that, while the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) itself may not be working at the moment, there are over 100,000 processors waiting to receive the data. That's good, because the LHC will produce 15 petabytes of data. Per year.

I never did talk much about the bailout bill, but Sports by Brooks did, documenting the important NASCAR-friendly provisions in the bill.

And in the middle of the night, a myriad of sources - Sports by Brooks (again), Eye of Polyphemus, and Sharon Cobb - all reported O.J. Simpson's criminal conviction.
