On Tuesday I wrote the post http://mrontemp.blogspot.com/2008/10/your-next-computer-duh.html which noted that I primary use general-purpose applications on my mobile phone.
Sometimes those are enough for enterprise purposes.
Late Tuesday evening, I was perusing my Google Reader RSS feeds...and read the announcement of the acquisition of my division by a competitor.
Those general-purpose applications work well...
