Thanks to Twitter user @davidsinger at the http://twitter.com/davidsinger URL, I found the USGS link above (and have bookmarked it on my cell phone) after the earthquake near Tokyo, Japan a little while ago.

Needless to say, Twitter (in conjunction with Tweetscan, at the http://tweetscan.com/ URL and various #hashtag trackers) is also a good source of earthquake information.
