Thoughts during the #twittout

Our home computer is in use, so I'm moblogging.

To Twitter's credit, http://blog.twitter.com/ does report the current issue that Twitter is trying to fix. Good for them.

I found a 30 second mp3 clip of Royksopp's "Remind Me" (original version, not the video version) that I've downloaded to my phone for my listening pleasure.

This post doesn't have it, but I'm considering canning the footer on my regular posts.

When Twitter is up again, I have to confirm that one of my new followers is who I think it is. Twidentity theft is always possible.

I haven't listened to the news since 6:30, but apparently all 8 victims of the south Los Angeles shooting are going to survive. Yes, 8, not 7 as previously reported. I think one kid went on home and told his family he had been shot; the bullet just grazed him.

I've been twittering for quite a while now (and am quite the Twitter addict) but didn't know about their blog. Thanks for the heads' up!

I don't recall Twitter talking about unplanned outages so quickly before. Maybe they have, and I just missed it.
