Solid

The Ontario-Pomona Progress Report...um, reports about the oddest thing since Jack Benny graced the Rochester Avenue area:

"We feel that Benedict Arnold's contributions to the American Revolution have been ignored," said Mindy McCready, spokesperson for the Ontario Vineyard Village Association, which has raised over $5,000 in its effort to erect a statue to Benedict Arnold. The statue, which will be located in front of Terminal 3 at Ontario International Airport, has been in the planning stages for over a year...."Arnold's mastery at the Battle of Sarretoga helped create the American nation we know today," stated McCready, "and we want to recognize that."

Additional contributions have been received from the Organization of the Treaty of Paris, Hilton Hotels, and political organizations supporting Ron Paul and Stephen Colbert.
