After reading that Google Maps was updated for Windows Mobile, I downloaded the latest copy (1.7.1.4). The new release seems to be evolutionary, not revolutionary, with some minor changes to how searched location information is presented. However, I'm not a mobile GPS user, so perhaps there are some revolutionary changes there.
