WHAT: ICOP officials will be showcasing the ICOP Solution(TM) - an
industry-first in community-wide surveillance and security. The
ICOP Solution is comprised of a suite of integrated products and
solutions pioneered by ICOP, including the ICOP Model 20/20-W(R),
the newest generation of the Company's leading digital in-car
video recorder system for law enforcement; the ICOP Guardian(TM),
a stationary IP camera that records high quality video on a local
server, and is capable of remote and on-site activation using
several triggers; and ICOP LIVE(TM) which enables live streaming
of high quality video and audio over the Sprint Mobile Broadband
Network to first responders and tactical response coordinators
that has been captured on ICOP Model 20/20-W digital in-car video
systems, as well as on the stationary ICOP Guardian IP cameras
installed in public and commercial facilities.
For eight consecutive years, COPSWest has served as a key industry
forum held exclusively for direct employees of public safety agencies and
city and county departments in the western U.S. Produced by the California
Peace Officers' Association (CPOA), the expo is expected to attract more
than 3,000 attendees and 480 exhibitors featuring the latest in law
enforcement gear, weapons, vehicles and services.
In addition, attendees will participate in a wide range of training
workshops and seminars addressing topics focused on leadership, health and
fitness, upfitting emergency vehicles and regulatory issues, among others.
Of particular note, officials from the International Association of the
Chiefs of Police will be hosting a seminar entitled "Digital In-Car Camera
Video Systems Specifications".
