Maybe it was OTHER hardware, or maybe OTHER software

Last night, after hearing about and experiencing temporary losses of connectivity every 20 minutes, I switched back to the ZyXEL software from the standard Windows software after re-reading a few articles that recommended the use of vendor networking software.

And somewhere in the diagnostic process I downloaded new software from Verizon. It may have been new help desk software, or perhaps something more substantial.

And, possibly most importantly, I rebooted my router twice last night, once leaving the router off for five minutes before restarting it.

No cursor freeze since 10:30 yesterday evening.

Knock on wood.
