The Led Zeppelin film "The Song Remains the Same" is another in the line of substandard works that I truly admire.
Reading the Davis and the Cole biographies on Led Zeppelin last night, it turns out that even the band thought the filmed Madison Square Garden performances in "The Song Remains the Same" were substandard, and the fantasy sequences contrived (John Paul Jones stopped filming when he got bored).
And even I'll admit that some of the enhancements were laughable - do we really need to see four Jimmy Pages playing at once?
But I still like the movie...
