Why was the TV set still on 13 months after Vincenzo Riccardi died?
LIPA spokesman Bert Cunningham said the utility kept power flowing into Riccardi's home, even though his utility bill may have gone unpaid.
"This is a situation where we did follow our procedures, and it was coming to the point where it would have been a termination," he said.
This one's a little unusual. The phone company, the alarm company, and the U.S. Postal Service had already stopped service, but the electric juice was still flowing over a year later? Sounds like a billing issue.
