More on Charlestown Judge Paul Leary

At their arraignment in Charlestown Court in February, Peter Berdovsky and Sean Stevens appeared before Judge Paul Leary. A recap from Rick Schwarz.

According to various news reports there are even doubts that Berdovsky and Stevens can be successfully prosecuted, even though Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General John Grossman feels that "It's clear the intent was to get attention by causing fear and unrest that there was a bomb in that location" but Judge Paul Leary stated during the arrangement that "It appears the suspects had no such intent, …but the question should be discussed in a later hearing."

Silverwolf86, a "Swim Legend" and Berdovsky/Stevens supporter, isn't worried.

Paul Leary is like a saint in hell when it comes to MA judges. I am that serious. And I speak deeply from personal and external experience on this one. Peter and Sean should come out ok on this one.

We'll see. I don't know whether Berdovsky and Stevens will appear before Leary again on Wednesday the 7th, or if they'll see another judge instead.
