It's all relative

I am reading a print copy of The Economist dated February 2. The articles were written after the Florida primary (and Edwards' and Giuliani's withdrawals), but before Super Tuesday.

The article "Goodbye, Rudy Tuesday" says the following about John McCain:

"It is not that Mr McCain never panders; but he does it less than anyone else who is running."

Well, at least the major candidates...
